Obviously there is some concern about getting a tattoo because when you get a tattoo, you risk getting an infection, pain and wonder about the possibilities of infectious diseases. The process needs to be better understood. 1. Can I Get Infectious Diseases From Tattoo Needles? There has been some concern recently regarding transmittable diseases (particularly Hepatitis-B and AIDS [HIV]) and tattoo shops. Just as in a dentist’s office, as long as the area is strictly sanitized, your chances for infection will be greatly reduced. 2. Can I Get Aids From Tattooing? When needles are passed from IDU to IDU and reused without sterilization, some of that blood remains in the syringe and is passed on to the next user. If infected blood is passed, the recipient can become infected with HIV, which leads to AIDS. Tattooing is VERY different from injecting drugs. The needles used in tattooing are not hollow. They do, however, travel back and forth through a hollow tube that acts as an ink reservoir. The tip of the tube is dipped into the ink, which draws a little into the tube. 3. Can My Tattoo’s Get Infected?

Not as long as you take care of your new tat. There is a section in the Ebook that covers healing methods in depth. Some people have trouble healing tattoos with colors they are allergic to. 4. What Are Some Bad Things For My New Tattoo? Once it is healed, there is very little that will screw up a tattoo. The one exception is prolonged exposure to sunlight. (the other is scarring, but that is patently obvious). Well, unfortunately it is. The newer inks are better at resisting fading but whatever you do, if you spend lots of time in bright sunlight your tats will fade (over a lifetime, not over a week). Best to try and keep them out of bright sunlight. No one wants to become a cave dweller just to keep their tats looking good, so just use some common sense.

It is important for you to have good Mothers Day Flowers and Wigs, here can you find personal Christmas Presents for yourselves.

eventually decide to get a tattoo, the first thing you’ll need to do is look for a reputable tattoo artist~Once you take the plunge and decide to get a tattoo, one of the most important tasks is to find a reputable tattoo artist}. huge range of designs to choose from and will give you professional advice~Most tattoo artists have several if not thousands of designs that you can choose}. If you don’t find anything you like, you can always ask him to make a custom tattoo.

Naturally, a lot of {deliberation should be put into selecting the design as it will be with you forever!~You should always be careful in what you choose, as you’ll have
the tattoo for the rest of your life.} The design is very important, although not nearly as vital as taking care of it; by caring for your new tattoo correctly, you will save your self any hassles in the future.

Good tattoo artists will also clean and apply antiseptic ointment to your tattoo as they create it. Expert artists know that this helps keep the tattoo healthy. Once the tattoo is completed, the artists will wipe it down, clean it off well, and apply another coat of antiseptic ointment. Once the ointment has been applied, he will put a piece of soft tissue or cellophane on top of the tattoo.

When the tattoo is finished, the artists should tell you how to maintain your new tattoo. Some of the more professional artists will talk to you and give you a detailed sheet with all of the information you need. If you went to a tattoo artist who didn’t explain this to you, you may be wondering just what you should do. Looking after a fresh tattoo isn’t rocket science, as long as you are aware of the do’s and don’ts.

Once you are home with your new tattoo, you should never hop right in the shower~Once you get home from the parlour, the first thing NOT to do is have a shower} Keeping it dry for the first couple of days is important, however it needs to be cleaned every hour or two. Before you touch the tattoo or clean it, you should always make sure that your hands are clean. If you follow this step and make sure your hands are clean, you won’t have to worry about an infection.

You’ll also want to visit your local drugstore and purchase a tube of A&D ointment. A&D ointment is the best to use. A&D will keep your tattoo clean and shiny and should be used for the first few days.Once the ointment starts to dry on the tattoo, you should wipe the old application off and apply some more. Try to avoid rubbing it in too firmly, or you could damage the healing process. It would be a good idea to avoid using soap at this time also.

Give it 5 or 6 days, and then disontinue use of the ointment. A&D ointment will keep your tattoo healthy, which you’ll notice the first time you apply it. After you stop using it, you should use an unscented body lotion. You want to avoid body lotions that have scents, as they can easily irritate the tender skin that resides under your tattoo.

Once again, in a few days, it will be OK to stop using the lotion. Most tattoos, after they have healed, tend to leave a scab in some areas. Although it is very hard not too, great care should be taken if you feel tempted to pick at the scab. If you aren’t careful, you could end up damaging your design. The best advice here is to leave any sacbby areas on the tattoo well alone. Reapplying A&D ointment at this point won’t hurt the tattoo, as most of the time a scab will itch.

Tattoos are fantastic to have if they are correctly looked after in the important early stages. Tattoos are for the most part with you for life, unless you choose to get them surgically removed.

Taking care of your tattoo now will keep it healthy and infection free in the long run. If you follow the above advice on how to take care of your tattoo – you won’t have anything to worry about.
