For some people, the name tat is all about honoring someone who lived before and has already passed on. This can be a great way to honor the loved one who has passed before you.
They can always live on in your memories and the name tattoo design is a great way to do that.

Name tattoos can be a way to symbolize a special bond that exists.
It can also be a way to pay tribute to someone special. Some people even get their own name tattoo in a design.
The name you’re going to use is just the beginning of designing your tattoo.

You also have to decide where you want it on your body and what type of design you want to use.
The location and the purpose of the tattoo can be a large contributing factor in what design you choose.

You might want a small name tattoo design in an inconspicuous spot or perhaps you want a name tattoo as part of a larger design in a place where many people can do it.

This is most often because the hearts and roses symbolize love or affection.

You will also see this done with R.I.P. or gravestones/headstones.

They used his footprint taken at birth and added his name and birthdate as a way to honor and remember him and the impact he had on their lives forever.
Name tattoo designs can also easily be incorporated into sleeves, half sleeves or larger back pieces.

They can easily be worked into a larger design or collage tattoo. Sometimes they are added in the bottom of a tattoo, almost in signature fashion.
Another very popular name tattoo design is to use foreign characters such as Asian lettering to spell out the name.

This could be your own name or the name of a loved one or someone you want to remember.
With so many different things you can do with names in tattoo design, it’s no surprise that this is such a popular choice.
