These days seems like tarantulas don’t scare too many people, so you say! Tarantula tattoo designs are now quite popular and will continue to grow in popularity due to the exotic pet trade which has grown the tarantula pet trade and hobby so they do not seem to scare people like they used a few years ago.

You will need to keep the following in mind about tarantula tattoo designs, though getting one shouldn’t scare you, you should be scared how the end result will look on your body.

The thing about tarantulas is that when you see them, no matter what your thoughts are somehow they are fascinating.. They look fury, they are massive and now they are becoming the new pet in the household. Tarantulas might not be everyone perfect pet but non the less, they are very popular in the pet trade these days
Spider Tattoo Designs
It is highly unlikely that tarantulas being kept as pets will ever match the popularity of dogs or cats but there are still some very popular species in the world of tarantulas like the Mexican red knee tarantula and the Chilean rose tarantula. Due to the demand and popularity of one of the species, the Mexican red knee tarantula, they are now endangered and rare to see in the wild.

Helpfully, Kircher who was a doctor back then depicts the region populated by the spider, and gives two drawings, the underside and top. So if you saw people dancing madly in the streets or in their homes back then, you could make two assumptions, the one that they were already sick or two that they thought or perhaps had been bitten by the tarantula, how unfortunate to have to dance until you were delirious i would rather have taken the bite then dance until i felt as if i had been bitten by the spider

Know you know why we use the word tarantula today, and that is that they thought it would cure them had they danced the tarantula dance to cure them.

As mentioned the Mexican red knee tarantula is very popular so if you would like something that is not so well known you could go for the gooty ornamental. So besides these two species mentioned you could opt for the green blue tree dwelling tarantula species, they are also good when it comes to choosing designs for this tarantula tattoo

As you can imagine there are hundreds of species, some still yet to be discovered but another well known and common species is the Chilean rose, though for a design they are or could be too common to get a unique design.

There are tons of species, this is merely to highlight the good looking ones, like the Costa Rican zebra spider, they would be a good choice for design
If you would like even more choice then have a look at the Indian ornamental species, they are a good source of inspiration when getting your tattoos.

For brilliant body marking that look awesome as a tattoo, you could opt for the Indian ornamentals, they also get very large.

You might not like the thought of tarantulas but what about the thought of eating them, some tribes that live deep in the jungles, also eat them as a type of a fast food while on the hunt for food and use their fangs as tooth picks

You could use your tarantula tattoo design as a guide like the Piaroa Indians in times of help and need, this way there is more to the tarantula tattoo design than meets the eye.
One thing you should know is that there is no such thing as a venoumous tarantula that is able to kill a man.

Back in the day people were extremely frightened of the size of these spiders and thought that due to the nature of their size that they had to somehow be venomous, but this was and is not the case.
